GOD'S PEOPLE GATHER

We were created  to live in community with one another. God made us with a need for relationships so that we can be edifying  and caring for each other as we walk through life together. FBC Life Groups are smaller gatherings of people that meet on Sunday mornings and various times and locations during the week, who are in a similar stages of life, encouraging and caring for each other in their faith.

What's a LIFE GROUP?

At FBC, the main vehicle through which we experience community is in Life Groups. These are smaller groups of people, generally 8-12 people, that meet regularly to practice the power of Scripture together.

Life Groups serve as a “safe place” for us and allow us to develop deep relationships with a smaller group and mutually strive to become more like Christ in every aspect of our lives.

In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, we read that “two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” We are committed to helping foster these types of relationships through community at FBC. We are better together.

How do I join a life group?

Our Membership process is the best place to start. You will hear from a leader about the vision for Life Groups and why it is such an important part of our mission. The class meets at the church, and then you  will be equipped with the resources and support needed to begin.
