Leadership

Ben became our Senior Pastor in January 2014. He came to us after pastoring in the Oklahoma City area for twelve years. Prior to that, he ministered for about ten years in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. He earned the Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993, and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ben and his wife, Sheila, have been married for seventeen years and have a daughter, Natalie. He enjoys travel, reading, fishing, and sports. A favorite verse is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” 

Danny is married to Kathy and they have four sons,
two daughter-in-laws and one granddaughter.
Danny is always ready to help however he can!
He enjoys serving at FBC Snyder.

Bill came to FBC Snyder in September of 2013 . Bill grew up here in Snyder and has been married to his wife, Amy, for 30yrs. They have two boys, Devin & Nik . Bill leads every Sunday morning with both your favorite traditional hymns and uplifting, contemporary praise & worship. He and his family have returned to FBC Snyder to follow his passion and calling to serve the Lord. Before coming to FBC Snyder, Bill served as Worship Leader at Shallowater FBC and praise team member at Bacon Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock, Tx.

Josh joined the FBC team in June of 2018.  Josh has been in full time youth ministry for almost 10 years, and studied at Central Baptist college where he met the love of his life Rachael Lewis. Rachael and Josh were married in 2008. Rachael has been and continues to be a great help mate to Josh in ministry. Josh and Rachael have two sweet kids, big sister Emma, and little brother Matthew, both his kids are a joy to be around and love spending time at FBC learning and growing more in the Lord. Josh believes, “The greatest thing you can ever do for a person is simply love them and share Jesus with them.” Josh focuses his life and ministry around Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your Paths straight." The Lewis family want to personally invite you to COME AND SEE what all GOD is doing at FBC Snyder.

Kasey Walker is our Children's Minister.  She has been married to her husband, Robbie, for twelve years and they have two beautiful children, Lindsey and Nathaniel.  Kasey is a certified Texas teacher with ten years of teaching experience ranging from 1st - 8th grade.  For the last six years, she has enjoyed the blessing of being a stay home mom. Kasey is excited to start this new chapter in her life in full time children's ministry.

Vanessa is our new Nursery Director here at FBC Snyder. Her & her husband Nathan were married here at FBC in 2006. They are blessed with two daughters Presley & Blaykli. Vanessa graduated from Texas Tech University with an Early Childhood Education Degree. She taught for Snyder ISD for 6 years before becoming a stay at home mom. Vanessa believes that God's gift of grace comes in many forms and that we should all faithfully be serving others, with the gift God has given us..as 1 Peter 4:10 says.

Stefanie is married to Wayne, who is a deacon. They have three children. She has a servant's heart and her love for Christ is reflected in her service here at First Baptist Church. Hers is the first face you see when you enter our offices or the first voice you hear when you call.
