The following are the core beliefs of FBC SNYDER based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Word of God, and that
both the Old and New Testaments are inerrant in the original
writings and are the supreme and final authority for faith and life
(Dt. 18:20-22; Rom. 15:4; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet 1:21).

We believe the Godhead exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections
(Matt. 28:19-20; Rev. 1:4-6).

We believe in His eternal existence as God, His Incarnation [taking on human form] and
Virgin Birth, His death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin, His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead, His present ministry of intercession in heaven, and His personal, future return to earth.  (Lev. 17:11; Matt. 24:29-31; Luke 1:30-35; Luke 24:1-12; John 1:1-5; Rom. 8:34).

We believe that the Holy Spirit, as the third Person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers unto a holy life; that He keeps and empowers believers day by day; that He is the Teacher of the Word of God and the Guide for daily living.
(John 14:16-17; Rom. 8:9).

We believe that man was created innocent and pure, and Adam fell through the sin of disobedience. Therefore, all people are corrupted in body, soul, and spirit; and all people need redemption.
(Gen.1:26, 6:5; Ps. 14:1-3; Rom. 3:10-19; Eph. 2:1-3).

We believe that salvation is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works, salvation involves repentance, a change of mind in respect to God and thus turning from one's own way to God's way, salvation is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, all who receive Jesus Christ are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become the children of God, and true salvation will be evidenced by a changed life. (Rom. 5:8; 2 Cor. 5:16-21; Eph. 2:8-9).

We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth, in the bodily resurrection of the just to the eternal abode in the glory of God's presence, and in the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
